The EDS Pay on Foot Pay station unit is capable of working independently or as part of a wider networked system. Various standard cards and tickets are accepted through the pay station's single slot making transactions.

Customized tariffs and a wide range of payment methods (coins, bank notes, credit & debit cards) facilitate and allow secure and fast payment transactions. The system is capable of serving a single or multiple car parks all connected via independent networks.

Pay On Foot Parking Revenue Systems

An Entry Ticket dispenser is positioned at each entry lane to the car park and issues a magnetic stripe parking ticket upon request by the customer pressing the ticket issue button.

An Exit ticket reader station is positioned at each of the exit lanes to the car park and verifies paid tickets, opens the barrier or gate and retrieves and holds the ticket. The exit reader station can be programmed to accept cards such as season tickets, pass cards, single exit tickets. The exit station can also be equipped with a credit card module permitting customers to pay at the point of exit. A range of specifically designed barriers are used in the car park system, designed for high traffic, highly reliable and low maintenance, with safety devices incorporated into the barrier.

An Entry Ticket dispenser is positioned at each entry lane to the car park and issues a magnetic stripe parking ticket upon request by the customer pressing the ticket issue button, which is connected to the underground vehicle detection loop to prevent false issuing of tickets.

The Entry Stations has side opening which allows convenient inspection without obstructing the lane, and optional wall mounting facility.
Ticket issuing unit fed by a continuous form, with a large capacity of tickets;
A high-resolution thermographic printer is used to codify the date, time in hours and minutes, issuing unit and progressive number on the ticket; optional ticket customisation including the organisations logo and any information or advertisement;
Optical sensor indicating that ticket paper is about to run out.
Option of an integrated intercom point with a call button for the attended pay desk, a proximity card reader for season-ticket holders, a display for useful information (for example: residues of scale-down season tickets or other messages) and a voice synthesiser for help messages.

The Attended Pay Desk allows the parking system hardware and software parameters to be configured. Moreover the attended pay desk enables all payment operations, as well as the issue or renewal of season tickets on transponder cards which are scaled-down according to time, money or points. The system can also display the alarms coming from peripheral stations and a summary of daily and periodical operations.

The system consists of the following: latest-generation personal computer with a keyboard and a screen, laser barcode reading unit, printer for payment receipts, courtesy display which shows the user the amount to be paid, management of several cashiers; .report with statistical graphs, remote-control assistance (optional).

The station can be equipped with an intercom unit connected to the entrance/exit stations for customer assistance.

The Automatic Pay Station allows full automation of the payment operations for parking tickets. It coordinates the operation of peripheral stations to which it is connected by means of the data network. The fee calculation procedure is simply started by displaying the ticket at a distance with no particular orientation, and is guided and supported by recorded messages in the language chosen out of the 5 available.

The payment can be made using coins and/or banknotes, the cash machine will give any change owed and the payment receipt. The cash machine consists of a painted steel cabinet with safety locks.
The front panel features:

acceptance slot for coins in 5 denominations;
acceptance slot for banknotes (4 denominations read on 4 sides);
payment receipt slot;
small change compartment.

A compact multifunctional appliance for full and integrated management of two access points positioned side by side. The coin issuing, coin collecting, and payment functions are integrated. It manages two typical categories of users - occasional users and season-ticket holders.

The originality of this appliance also derives from the fact that coins can be reused, therefore eliminating the need for recharging. It keeps count of the spaces taken in the car park and controls a count-related traffic-light system.

It automatically calculates the parking cost based on the preset rate table and also differentiated according to holidays, time bands and categories. It minimises the need for wiring, making it actually possible for seasonal installations to be disassembled and stored.
