DDA Wide Access Turnstile & Flap Gates
These gates are available in either a single or double unit facing each other to allow for gaps of up to 2 metres. This leaves sufficient space for wheelchairs, trolleys and bulky goods to pass through.
The glass panels are motorised and can open in either direction. The units can be activated by an access control system, a push button at the reception desk or guard station, or via an automatic access entry system.

Turnstile gate: EDSUKT9120
The highly configurable EDSUKT9120 DDA wide access pedestrian DDA gate is an extremely compact motor-powered swing-leaf turnstile, featuring innovative and functional design engineered to control access points at sites with very high flow rates such as shopping malls, airports, railway stations and hospitals.
- 120mm diameter column containing control electronic, motor and power supply.
- LED crown to warn when the gate leaf is moving and signal state of operation.
- Radar built into the structure for quick remote opening.
- Modularity: depending on the needs the luminous crown and radar are interchangeable.

DDA Wide Access Turnstile & Flap Gates
The DDA wide turnstile access gates we make are ideal for use in an un-supervised lane and can be used in conjunction with other turnstiles or access control systems from the range.
The special needs turnstile disabled access gates are also available with the added benefit of IR beams to detect how many people pass through when the units are opened. In the event that the unit sees more people passing than authorised it will sound an alarm. This version of the special needs turnstile disabled access gate, the Intelligate, is ideal for when a guard cannot supervise the lane all the time.
Glass Gates Frameless DDA Compliant EDSUKT9104
EDSUKT9104 glass wing gate is a bi-directional motorised swing turnstile. It is composed of a stainless steel structure with a granite top cover.
Wing gates feature an emergency panic release system. They are also suitable for wider passageways as they are available in a double configuration with synchronised automation. Wing gates allow easy access for wheelchairs where other turnstiles might cause problems.
Glass Gates Framed DDA Compliant EDSUKT9101
The EDSUKT9101 DDA compliant framed glass gates are a simple, versatile design. The DDA compliant gates present a secure and stylish solution that compliments many locations, particularly those which experience high levels of pedestrian traffic. Our gates are packed with many features that make access control more integrated and less obtrusive. They have the flexibility to be integrated with a variety of control systems, from a simple manually operated push button to more sophisticated fully automated ultrasonic solutions with overhead sensors or autosensors devices.
Another great feature of these gates is that they will automatically reset from the breakout position within 2 seconds and has in-built intelligent software that activates a sleep mode if it cannot perform a function after 3 failed attempts. The breakout force required can be varied between 60-180 newton metres to suit different environments.
This DDA compliant gate design has the option of a full depth arm with perspex infill panel. This is more suited to leisure/ corporate environments as it has the added benefit of being fully DDA compliant, offering full access to disabled users. The emergency breakout facility can be set up to activate an alarm and/ or flashing top light to notify staff.

The EDSUKT9112 frameless glass DDA gate is an automatic gate utilising microprocessor control technology to achieve consistently accurate operation. The gate can be easily configured to suit specific customer requirements. Options include; configuration, gate arm type and length, sensor types, alarm modes, and operational parameters, for example left or right hand and linked pair operation. Whichever configuration is chosen, the electrical operating system remains the same.
The parameters are usually factory pre-set to specific customer requirements and should not require further attention. However, should changes be required then any competent person can carry out the necessary operations. During operation the control box is constantly monitoring the position of the gate arm using through beam sensors mounted under the top cover. These are activated by a pin, which rotates with the swing of the gate arm.
If, during normal operating conditions, the gate arm is registered by the microprocessor as being within 5 degrees of either of the operating parameters for more than a second then the input signal to the microprocessor will be deemed indeterminate. This indeterminate state will activate any pre-set alarm options, for example a sounder or flashing LED beacon.

- Self Monitoring.

- The gates are locked until a valid open signal is received.
- Automatic reset. The open signal will be cancelled if passage through is not completed within pre-set time. The standard default is 5 seconds.
