Traffic Flow Plates Speed Plates
Traffic Flow Plates Speed Plates
Traffic flow plates are designed to allow one way flow of traffic. They are placed over an exit, allowing vehicles to exit the area. They prevent vehicles from entering as they are presented with a raised steel kerb which is virtually impossible to drive over.
Traffic flow plates are manufactured from heavy steel plate and formed with a built in spring action to automatically raise into position once driven over.

Traffic Flow Plates Road Width Guide
Traffic flow plates are designed to be placed at regular increments across a road, and are suitable for roads between 2 and 6.5 metres wide. The recommended spacing between each flow plate can vary according to road width:
2.0 metre road width will require approximately 4 flow plates.
2.5 metre road width will require approximately 5 flow plates.
3.0 metre road width will require approximately 5 flow plates.
3.5 metre road width will require approximately 6 flow plates.
4.0 metre road width will require approximately 7 flow plates.
5.0 metre road width will require approximately 9 flow plates.
5.5 metre road width will require approximately 10 flow plates.
6.0 metre road width will require approximately 11 flow plates.
6.6 metre road width will require approximately 12 flow plates.
