The EDS speedgate glass leaf turnstile is the ultimate in preventing access into your site. It provides high security coupled with a very visible deterrent and can be installed in a variety of different applications for use in manned or unmanned sites. The speedgates are aesthetically pleasing and designed for be incorporated in any architecturally designed building. A range of finishes are available, with granite or wooden tops and glass or stainless steel sides, all complementing each other. Several methods of safety are incorporated into the system as standard.

Speedgates Glass Turnstiles EDSUKTSG1
EDSUKTSG1 glass leaf speedgate turnstile is the ultimate in preventing access into your site. It provides high security coupled with a very visible deterrent and can be installed in a variety of different applications for use in manned or unmanned sites. EDSUKTSG1 glass leaf speedgate turnstiles are robust and manufactured from stainless steel & glass.
A state of the art control system monitors the speedgates for precise location and has numerous advanced safety features built-in. The control system ensures the speedgates operate at optimum performance with smooth operation.
The wings are closed in normal mode, opening fast when the authorisation is received for the passage. Multiple safety features are built-in to prevent people being trapped when the wings are closing by reopening if activity is detected. Optional counters can be installed for one by one or in and out. Indicator lights are built-in as standard, placed on both sides of the front panels. In an emergency the wings open and indicators illuminate green. The gates can also be activated during power failures using the built-in UPS battery backup.
Construction: All body stainless steel. The central and the front panels are 304 grade DIN grade satin stainless steel, lateral panels are standard grid patterned stainless steel. Top lid standard top cover is black granite 20mm. Different granite patterns and colours, stainless steel or wood are available on request.

The glass gate & speedgate turntiles are designed to ensure only one person gains access for each authorised card presented. The system uses an active infra-red matrix of beams to create an invisible electronic field between two pedestals. These beams are controlled by a microprocessor designed to monitor the movement of people with pinpoint accuracy. The glass gate & speedgate turntile systems can detect two people close together whilst ignoring smaller inanimate objects like umbrellas.
Available in a range of widths for standard use and DDA compliant wide access use, with heights upto 1.8mtrs to prevent jumping.
